“Give Am Belle” Proves Hp Zendo Is Benin’s Bold New Frontier Voice

ree

Hp Zendo is rising fast. Born Ogun Omumati Hope, the Benin City artist has dropped his sophomore EP Give Am Belle on September 14, 2025, under Only God Music Entertainment — and it’s more than just tracks. It’s a declaration.

The EP is an 8-track journey that moves between celebration and reflection, street energy and introspection. It opens with “Jeff Bezos” (prod. Jadubeatz) and “Sanwo” (prod. Shocker), tracks that feel like statements. Zendo captures the grind, the hunger, the Lagos-to-Benin drive that many know but few articulate this cleanly.

Then you get “Choplife” (featuring Picazo, Gengz, Flex B), the kind of street-party anthem where boots hit concrete and speakers rattle windows. Contrast that with “Make Am” (with Areezy) and “Kind Man” (with Dhriz), tracks that expose his lyrical sharpness, choices, and his ability to balance swagger with sensitivity. The closers, “Winner” and “Deliver Me,” tie it together: ambition, vulnerabilities, and clear vision.

But Give Am Belle isn’t just music. It’s fashion, identity, narrative. Hp Zendo wears style like a weapon, experimental streetwear mixed with luxury threads, image pieces that speak louder than some lyrics can. This aesthetic ties in perfectly with the sound: bold, polished, risky. Just as Rema fused Afropop & fashion, Shallipopi branded the “pluto” lifestyle, and Zerrydl injected new energy into Pluto sounds, Zendo is forging his lane — one that’s street-rooted and globally minded.

Here’s where he stands out: his dual identity. The street credibility (you hear it in his cadence, production, features) plus fashion-forward identity gives him leverage. He doesn’t have to choose between being rugged or refined. In Give Am Belle, he bridges both. That makes him a frontier voice — someone Benin sends out as proof that its next generation of artists won’t just make noise; they’ll make waves.

For upcoming artists, there’s a lesson in this rollout: you don’t only need good beats, you need character. You need vision. Sound + style + story. Because global readiness in 2025 isn’t limited to streaming — it’s about how you present, how you appear, how you carry yourself. Hp Zendo is checking all those boxes, and Give Am Belle looks like the EP that stakes his claim.
